MDCC '50' mile TT Championship

 Six members ride in the North Hants Open '50' on Sunday, May 8th competing for the Frank Skelly '50' Trophy. It's an open event and the full field can be seen on the CTT site.  It runs on the Bentley course in Hampshire between Farnham and Alton. 

An outstanding weekend of results.

Maidenhead riders had possible the best every weekend of racing. Full details can be found on the 'MDCC riders in action' forum page. In summary: 1 overall win 1 fastest lady 2 1st teams 1 2nd place. And thats on top of the last couple of weeks when the 10 and 25tt team records have also been broken.

MDCC '25' Sunday, 24th April, Fifield Course

Our Easter Sunday '25' was blessed with an afternoon of beautiful weather making an event  that all riders enjoyed. Winner was an impressive looking Simon Bowler [Eton Tri Club], only rider under the hour in 58:59. Simon Greenland was second in 1:01:55.

High Wycombe CC Good Friday '10'. H10/22

The H10/22 '10' course, Marlow bypass revealed it's speed potential on Friday when in ideal conditions MDCC's team of Pete Weir, Sam Hilton and Danuta Tinn broke the Club's '10' team record by 1minute 1 second. The old record stood at 1:06:36 set in 2008 set by Pete, Chris Heape and Joe Francis.

Club '10' Fifield Thursday 21st April

Our first '10' of the season on the Fifield course saw a strong field take part on a warm and fast evening.  Neil Cooper of AW Cycles was fastest rider with 22:36 although his team mate Nick English denied a late start rode the course un-numbered in a mid '21'.

Six MDCC riders under the hour

A superb turnout by MDCC riders in the Farnborough and Camberley 25 this afternoon saw all six riders under the hour in very good conditions on the Bentley course.

First Ride at Reading Track League for Callum Robertson

On Monday evening MDCC junior Callum Robertson rode at Palmer Park in the Reading Track League for the first time. John Percy has been helping Callum over the winter during  his Club track sessions at Palmer Park and for a junior rider in his first appearance it proved he has already learned a lot.

Andrew Payne Takes the Sporting Courses Championship Again

WLC 25m TT, 10th April 2011

A slightly depleted Maidenhead team were up bright and early at Great Missenden; with Ian & Tim missing, I pinned a number on for the middle part of my Sunday morning ride in the country to give the fast boys somebody else to chase down. The warmer weather and the faster road suggested that improvements were on the cards, and most of the team rose to the task.
