Danuta wins ladies 25tt run by Farnham Road club on H25/8 - A31.
Submitted by Andrew Payne on 10 July 2011 - 6:30pmThis morning Danuta Tinn was the fastest lady with a time of 1:00:22 on the H25/8. She was about 25 seconds quicker than the 2nd place lady who's name I forgot to note.
I improved my PB by 22 seconds to 57:35. I've currently no idea where I finished, except to say I wasn't the fastest.
For a change there was a very light westerly wind which was increasing in strength during the event. The western end of the course was affected by heavy rain showers while the easterly (Farnham) end remained dry.

Years Best '25' Time for Danuta
Submitted by Anonymous on 29 June 2011 - 7:10pmWe were pleased to see Danuta Tinn produce a season best '25' time of 57:54 in the A3crg event near Petersfield on Monday to finish as third fastest woman to winner Lesley-Anne Walkling's 55:27. This is only 49 seconds outside her pb ( I think) set on the fast South Wales course. Brilliant ride Danuta. I'm sure we'll see a new pb for you this year.

Especially good to hear that her bike split was particularly impressive as she pulled herself up from 29th out of the water to third at the end of the bike section finally taking first in the run.
MDCC Team '50' Record Ratified And National '50' Champs
Submitted by Anonymous on 17 June 2011 - 2:14pmThe Committee has ratified the Club team '50' record broken In the North Hants Open '50' on Sunday, May 8th on the Bentley course in Hampshire between Farnham and Alton. The record was broken by Simon Greenland with 2:1:57, Andrew Payne with 2:2:01 and Jorj James finishing in 2:5:45. This lowered the record to 6:9:43 from the 6:16:10 set way back in 1974 by Bob Moore, Bob Sheriffs and George Mills.
These 3 go again but with the addtion of our fastest rider Pete Weir in the National '50' Champs on this Sunday, 19th June on the same course, so if we get the break in the weather we have been promised this record may fall again.
