MDCC '10', Thursday, June 23rd

MDCC Club ‘10’ Championship for Senior Men, Women,

Juniors and Juveniles.        Thursday , June 23rd

We are still sorting out the results for the MDCC Vets on Standard award. Andrew is away at the moment and needs to get home to put the results through the spreadsheet again. We hope to have it done by the end of the week.

Bird Hills group ride and the wrong way up one-way roads.

This was my 1stclub ride for a number of weeks during to time trials and other riding activities.  On arrival at the golf club Les, Andy and Rob were already there discussing why the timing failed on the previous weeks Dragon Ride in South Wales.  Mike turned up a couple of meeting later with the comment, “I don’t know what I’m here”.  I think he was hoping for an easy ride.

Club kit due around 5th July 2011

Another batch of club kit has been orders and I'm expecting to take delivery around 5th July 2011.  For all those who requested specific items, I will be chasing individually for money.  The prices are pretty much the same as the website.  To get the order processed promptly I have already paid for the items on my credit card.

The club will also be holding a small stock of common items, so anyone who did request items will still be able to look smart in club kit.

MDCC v. TVT Inter Club '10'

This Thursday's '10' is the MDCC v. TVT Inter Club '10' on the H10/2 Maidenhead Thicket course.  The start is at 7.45 pm.

We will also be running the highly successful  social at the Shire Horse immediately  afterwards where the winners and runners-up plaques will be awarded.

As we now have 50 riders already booked in if you want to sign in on the line arrive ready for about  an 8.30 pm start time

It is recommended that a working rear light, either flashing or constant, is fitted to the machine in a position clearly visible to following road users and is active whilst machine is in use. For later starters a front light could be a sensible choice as well.

MDCC Club '25' Sunday, 10th July, Fifield. 3 pm start

For those of you who would like to try a longer distance than our usual Club '10' our third Club '25' of the season takes place on the Fifield Course [ HCC 001] at 3 pm on Sunday, 10th July.

Provisional handicap results

This link should take you to the possible current standings in the handicap competition.  Several of this years new members currently don't have handicap times.  I need to consult the oracle on how these are calculated.  There are also a small number of other issues for longer standing members.  Please bear with me while I get these resolved.

If you have any questions of comments / corrections please let me know.

Thanks

Andrew Payne
