Submitted by Anonymous on 6 June 2010 - 9:57am
A warm muggy afternoon yesterday saw only three MDCC riders competing for the Tony Deadman Trophy for the MDCC '30' mile TT Championship.
At the race HQ in Bentley, riders discussed whether to carry water bottles or not, lesser souls took water bottles, some took two, the elite riders looked as if they were not carrying any. The first 7 miles out towards Alton was into a slight head wind, then after the turn at Chawton roundabout, good use was made of the slight tail wind to speed back towards Farnham.

Thursday '10' Report and other News
Submitted by Anonymous on 28 May 2010 - 11:58amOn a clear evening with the wind dropping for later riders we had a good turnout of 44 riders for our Thursday evening '10' on the Thicket course. Pete Weir triumphed again with 21:22 which could have been quicker as he had to battle the early blowey conditions as first man off. He also had some problems at the National '10' on Sunday which lost him some time, breaking a spoke 2 miles from the finish and then mistaking the finish line and sitting up too early.
