To take place at St Luke's Church Hall, Norfolk Road , Maidenhead at 8pm -10 pm. There is some parking behind the Hall and on street parking around the Hall.

Sam Hilton Takes the MDCC 2010 Novice Award.

 Sam Hilton clinched the fastest MDCC Novice award at the very end of the season by riding a Saturday morning '25' on the Alton course to produce his fastest  '25' of the year with 1:2:02. Together with his 24:29 in a Club '10' on the H10/2 he finished with an excellent average speed of 24.273 mph.

Simon Greenland takes MDCC Vets Best All Rounder Competition (BAR) after a fantastic year. Kate Hunt takes the Ladies BAR.

Simon Greenland has won the MDCC Vets BAR for 2010 with PB's at 50 miles and 12hours. His 12hour distance of 253.997 miles broke one of the Club's oldest records held by Den Hutton since 1953. 

Updating the Sportive Championship

As the cycling season draws to a close, I am in the process of updating the sportive Championship results.  This link shows the results I have so far Sportive Results.

I would be greatful if members could email me the details of their events.  Remember this championship is based on total distance covered and NOT time.  My email address can be found in the members section.

The Sunday Club Run (Bird's Hill)

Please note that the starting time of these rides will move to a 9:00 start over the winter month's.  This new time starts this weekend when the clocks go back to GMT.  I have added a calendar entry to confirm this change.

MDCC Clock Tower Club Run. End of BST

MDCC Clock Tower Club Run

 Sunday Club Runs  from the Clock Tower from Sunday 31st October, will leave half an hour later at 9.30 am as the Clocks go back that day. This will be the departure time for all Sunday Clock Tower Club runs until  BST starts again in 2011.

No Club Night This Friday, October 22nd.

Just a reminder that because of a clash of dates in booking our Clubroom there will be no Club night this Friday, October 22nd.

The next Clubnight will be Friday, 29th October, 8pm - 10pm

MDCC Hill Climb Championships Sunday, October 10th

Ian Blatchford retained the MDCC Hill Climb Championship over the '3 Hills' this morning being fastest MDCC rider on all 3 of the climbs. In second place was Pete Weir and Andrew Payne took third.  Full results Below.  

Committee Meeting at Club Night, Friday, October 8th

The pre-AGM Committee Meeting will be held at the Club Night this Friday, 8th October at The Clubroom, St Lukes Church Hall, Norfolk Rd, Maidenhead. MDCC  members are welcome to attend. Refreshments available.
