7 of us arrived at the Clock tower this morning, 5 regulars - Gurpal, Mark, David, David and myself and 2 new members Ian and Mark. We set off in the sunshine to Twyford and Sonning. It was an uneventful and fast run through Playhatch and Sonning Common to the top of Pishill. We tried to do some through and off from there to Stokenchurch but there was a bit too much of a difference in abilities and our new member Mark was struggling a little bit so we let the fast guys head off and all went at our own pace. Gurpal and I gave Mark our spare gels to help him along before we set off through Lane End to Marlow, through Bourne End and home.
It was a really nice morning run, but a fast one for the Clock Tower group - I clocked 16.9mph average for the 48 miles.
