Unfortunately we had to cancel today's 25 due to persistent heavy rain. The riders has all just signed on when the heavens opened - rain, wind, hail - we had the lot for best part of 20 minutes. You'd be surprised how many people can take shelter under two umbrellas and a table - four under each umbrella and two under, yes under, the table.

When the riders started handing back their numbers we knew there was a problem. Given the amout of water on the road and the lack of visibility we made the decision to cancel the event. Lets hope we have better luck next Thursday.
