The club has been sent the following information.   If would be good to get a team or 2 to enter.   Solo entries are also allowed at various distances.  Teams could be mixed ability or based around club ride groups.  Get chatting about this to get interest drummed up.

We hope you’re well and you’ve had a good start to 2024!

I'm getting in touch from Regain Sports Charity to invite your cycling club to take part in our exciting cycling challenge at the famous Thruxton Circuit in Andover.

We're challenging cycling clubs across the UK to enter a team (or teams!) of four people to cycle 42 laps (totalling 100 miles) of the track. How you split the laps up between your four team members is completely up to you! There are prizes for the fastest teams and best fundraising teams.

If any of your members would prefer to go solo, we're also running; Bronze (10 laps), Silver (20 laps), Gold (30 laps) and new for this year Platinum (42 laps i.e. 100 miles) challenges.

This all-inclusive cycling challenge is open to people of all ages and all abilities, so other family members are invited to take part too. The racetrack is long (2.4 miles) and very wide, so it’s perfect for everyone!

All funds raised from the day will support Regain, the only charity dedicated to improving the lives of people who have become tetraplegic in a sporting accident.
