On Saturday Robert Tinn entered his 2nd road race at Hillingdon with hopes to improve on the 3rd obtain on his first outing in a CAT 4 event. Part way through the race Robert was involved in a large crash and suffered a number of bumps and bruises. Before his mother could get to the scene he was back on the bike and rejoining the main pack.
On the final lap Robert was near the front but a little boxed in, but managed to picked the right line and took the win in a bunch sprint.
Well done Robert for winning and collecting enough points to become a Cat 3 racer.
