our new bionic rider is recovering well

Last week, one of our long term club members underwent a heart procedure after experiencing chest pains while attempting to set new pb's and winning veteran and club awards.  Other's say that after studying WADA regulations and consultations with some chap called Lance that having a heart stent installed is a viable way for ever increasing performance on the bike.  The only down side being a groin strain.

But seriously Simon Greenland has had a stent fitted and told to keep off the bike for 6 weeks.  Apart from a weeks frustration of not riding a bike Simon is all well and should be back racing next season.  And long may this last.
