MDCC '10' Mile Championship TT Thursday 21st June. All Categories

Our Club '10' Mile TT Championship on the Thicket Course attracted  fewer riders than usual as the rain always looked as though it could fall but 15 Club members rode and found unexpectedly  that the conditions were quite conducive to fast times..

The senior/vets Lee Myall trophy was won again by Chris Taylor in an excellent 22-16. Last year he had to share it with Sam Hilton but this year Sam came home in 22-41 to take the silver medal, another very good ride considering the limited racing that he has taken part in this year.

Many thanks to all who rode and the rain did hold off until all riders had finished. Thanks also of course to all those that helped run the event, Malcolm and Brian for pushing off, Mark Garnett and  Paul Richardson for timekeeping and Les Gardner for signing riders on and also fitting in a sub 30 minute ride.
