New roads and sunshine - 18 riders head to Muddy Boots on the 18th
Submitted by Sarah Davies on 18 November 2018 - 4:28pmNot the most auspiciuos start to the ride for me today as my gear cable snapped within a mile of home - so I had to race back, nick my daughters bike which needed pedals and head back out. Luckily we had pre planned the route so I knew that the group would be heading off towards Clivedon and I met the 17 strong peleton en route. It was a beautiful sunny day, and as usual we tried to plan a route that would head into the wind on the way out, so that we would have a tailwind to push us home. Today that meant heading NE, which is not a usual route for us, so Dave came up with a ride to stop at a new cafe near Chalfont St Giles.

Submitted by Andrew Payne on 15 August 2018 - 1:56pmDespite my previous post saying tonights TT was on, traffic lights have now appear on the Bird Hills roundabout due to a water mains problem near the roundabout, so it's now cancelled.
Lets hope we have more luck next week on the Shurlock Row course
Thanks
Andrew
A sunny summers morning
Submitted by Sarah Davies on 5 August 2018 - 2:32pm
With another scorching day forecast, we pre planned an earlier start from the Clock Tower today so 15 of us set off from the car park at 0830 whilst it was still vaguely cool. We used to regularly ride a route up through Twyford and Playhatch to Nettlebed and Christmas Common so thought we would give this a go, and if we split we would meet for coffee at The Barn.
