Iliotibial Band Friction Syndrome or ITBFS injury

I have been suffering from this since a TT at the end of March.

This has been the reason why I have not participated in many TT's this year. After many physiotherapy sessions, exercises and rest periods it has improved enough for me to do some TT's at the end of the season.

However I now have a problem further down my leg below the knee. I will spare you the details.

What I have not investigated before is whether the problem has been caused or aggravated by an incorrect bicycle/cleat/shoe setup.

Can anyone recommend someone in this area that may help? Of course I am thinking of someone with a bit more knowledge than AWCycles.
